Marie/Lepanto (Centro-Matic/Water Liars) released debut LP (listen), on tour

Marie/Lepanto is the new group formed by Will Johnson of Centro-matic and Justin Peter Kinkel-Schuster of Water Liars. Their debut album, Tenkiller, came out in January via Big Legal Mess. It's dirty boots folk rock that's not afraid to let loose a ragged, noisy guitar solo in an otherwise quietly introspective song and you can stream the whole album below.

Having toured with Pedro the Lion earlier this year, Marie/Lepanto are currently on a headline tour that will hit NYC on Tuesday (4/17) at Mercury Lounge with Will Johnson's old pal, Anders Parker also on the bill (tickets). All tour dates, including a couple Austin dates opening for Jason Isbell, are listed below.
