Mark Lanegan shares "Letter Never Sent," guesting w/ Seth Meyers 8G Band

Mark Lanegan will release new solo album Somebody’s Knocking on October 18 via Heavenly and he’s just shared a second song from it. “Letter Never Sent” has a little gothy post-punk in it, which is a natural for Mark’s smoky baritone. Listen below.

This week, Mark will be guesting on Late Night with Seth Meyers as part of the 8G Band, which includes Marnie Stern and members of Les Savy Fav and Girls Against Boys. Fred Armisen’s on drums this week, too. Catch him Monday (7/22) though Thursday (7/25) staring at 12:35 AM Eastern on NBC.

Mark also has a collaborative album with Not Waving on the way, and you can catch him next month at Psycho Las Vegas where he’ll play Saturday, 8/17 at 7:35 PM on the Beach Stage.
