Suicide co-founder Martin Rev recently released new solo album Demolition 9 which he made with producer Craig Leon. Comprised of 34 wildly disparate vignettes, it's a unique record, if a bit sonically schizophrenic, and you can stream the whole thing below.

Rev and Leon celebrated the album's release during last weekend's Northside Festival, as part of the “Downtown Trip” show at The Hall at MP on Friday (6/9) that brought together a bunch of names from NYC’s legendary downtown scene for a one-of-a-kind evening, that also included Bush Tetras paired with DNA’s Ikue Mori. The night was hosted by Lydia Lunch. Did you go? Pictures from Martin Rev and Craig Leon's set are in the gallery above.

Martin Rev has shows lined up this summer in Los Angeles (June 22 at Zebulon) and NYC (July 21 at Rough Trade). Tickets for the LA and NYC shows are on sale now.

In other news, there's a posthumous album on the way from Martin Rev's partner in Suicide, Alan Vega (who died last summer). Titled IT, the album features nine tracks of unreleased material that he wrote and recorded with his wife before his passing. The record is out July 14 on the FADER label and you can listen to "DTM," and check out the artwork and tracklist, below.
