To the disappointment of many Matchbox 20 fans at their show in Tuscon Thursday (8/3), the band's set was delayed as a large swarm of bees stormed the venue. The bees invaded the AVA Amphitheater around the time the concert began, and beekeepers were called onto the scene about a half an hour later. Thankfully nobody was seriously harmed. Things went smoothly for Rob Thomas and crew for the rest of the show. Where's Gob when you need him?

More good news: honeybee populations are on the rise again.
