Max Fish celebrating 30th anniversary, getting its own Adidas sneakers
Lower East Side bar and sometimes music venue Max Fish is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. Known as a hangout for artists, musicians and skaters, the bar has teamed with Adidas for their own limited edition Max Fish Campus ADV footwear. The sneakers feature a navy suede upper, with the venue name atop of a screen printed red polka dot (mimicking Max Fish's polka-dot interior). The sneakers will be available in skate shops and at Max Fish starting July 12.
Meanwhile, Max Fish will also celebrate its 30th anniversary with a private, friends-and-family party featuring photo and t-shirt retrospective on Sunday, July 14.
Tonight (7/8) at Max Fish in the downstairs space is the "Abasement 51" party with performances from 6G Network (Greg Fox/Ged Gengras/ Grey Mcmurray), KRK (George Cremaschi & Matthew Ostrowski), Roe Enney, Universal Cell Unlock, 51717 and DJ Clifford Allen. Flyer for that is below.
Max Fish moved from its original Ludlow St. location to 120 Orchard St in 2014.
