Maxo Kream announces 'Punken' tour with Cuz Lightyear, playing SOB's

Houston rapper Maxo Kream has one of the best rap albums of early 2018 with Punken, which features Trippie Redd, 03 Greedo and D Flowers. Over bright, bouncy projection, Maxo tells real-life stories of his troubled childhood, using and selling drugs, and run-ins with the law, and he does it with a highly impressive flow that’s a thrill to listen to. Maxo has struggled and the lyrical topics of Punken are no joke, but right now he sounds like he’s having fun and he’s inviting his growing fanbase to have fun with him. Maxo just announced a month-long tour in support of the album, kicking off on the West Coast in late March and wrapping up in his home state in late April. Cuz Lightyear opens all dates.

In between, he’ll make the trip to NYC for a show at SOB’s on April 12. Tickets for that show are on sale now.
