As has happened in past years, this weekend is a celebration of legendary NYC punk venue Max's Kansas City. The 2019 Reunion, which started last night at Arlene's Grocery and runs through Saturday (6/8) features many of the bands who played there during its 1975-1981 era, including Tuff Darts, Sic F*cks, Walter Lure's old band The Waldos, Nihilistics, and more. It's a snapshot of the time and tickets are on sale now -- check out the Friday and Saturday lineup below. If you can't make it to the shows, Punkcast is streaming it live.

Thursday's opening night of the reunion included performances by Mickey Leigh (brother of Joey Ramone who was also in band Birdland with Lester Bangs), The Invaders, The Rousers, Gina Harlow & The Bowery Boys, The Dots, Billy Stark Stone & Rico Blythe and more. You can watch full video of Thursday's entire show, via Punkcast's YouTube channel, below.
