Maxwell announces tour, released a song off his new album

R&B singer Maxwell, who played his first NYC show in five years in February, has a new album blackSUMMERS’night coming out on July 1 via Columbia Records. He shared his first new song in seven years off the LP, “Lake By the Ocean.” Listen to it below.

In addition to the album, he’ll go on a SUMMERS’ tour in support of it, starting this June. That tour hits the soon-to-be-opened Amphitheater at Coney Island Boardwalk on July 9. Tickets go on sale soon.
