Mayhem touring US with Incantation and Cloak
Norwegian black metal legends Mayhem spent much of last year playing their 1994 classic De Mysteriis Dom Sathana on tour, and now they have announced three US “Demon Anthology” shows, where they’ll put on an “extended show containing their greatest songs from all their albums.” Opening all three are US death metal vets Incantation, who released their tenth album Profane Nexus on Relapse last year, and Atlanta black metallers Cloak, who we named one of the best new artists of 2017 off the strength of their debut album on Season of Mist, To Venomous Depths.
The tour includes a Long Island show on March 30 at Revolution. Tickets go on sale Friday (2/2) at 10 AM.

Mayhem’s controversial history is also reportedly the basis for Jonas Åkerlund’s new film Lords of Chaos, which features new music by Sigur Ros and stars musician/actress Sky Ferreira alongside Rory Culkin and others.
