Me First and the Gimme Gimmes releasing a great hits, touring

Me First and the Gimme Gimmes — the band featuring NOFX’s Fat Mike, Lagwagon’s Joey Cape, and members of Swingin’ Utters, No Use For A Name and Foo Fighters, who play skate punk covers of non-punk songs — are releasing a greatest hits this year. It’s called Rake It In: The Greatestest Hits, and it drops on April 7 via Fat Wreck Chords. It includes their takes on “Country Roads,” “Jolene,” “Uptown Girl,” “I Believe I Can Fly,” and more. The Gimme Gimmes are also doing a ton of touring this year, with varying openers including masked punks Masked Intruder, melodic hardcore rippers PEARS, and garage punk partiers together PANGEA.

The run with Masked Intruder and PEARS hits Asbury Park on April 22 at The Stone Pony and NYC on April 23 at Webster Hall. Tickets for those shows go on sale Friday (2/10) at 10 AM. All dates are listed below.
