Brooklyn's Meek Is Murder will follow last year's double EP, Onward/Into the Sun, with a self-released new album, Was, on July 15 (pre-order). It was produced by Converge's Kurt Ballou, and it's got a kind of frenetic mathcore that fans of that band will almost definitely like. We're premiering the new single, "Full Hearts, Empty Rooms." It's just under the three-minute mark, and it's moving full speed ahead almost the whole song, with room for a little slowed-down sludge too. Listen below.

They have a couple upcoming shows, including Long Island with Candiria. All are listed below.

Meek Is Murder -- 2016 Tour Dates
Jul 2 - Ithaca, NY @ One Fest w/ Dragged Into Sunlight, Primitive Man, Cult Leader
Jul 9 - Amityville, NY @ Amityville Music Hall w/ Candiria, Netherlands
