Meek Is Murder releasing 'Was' (stream "Full Hearts, Empty Rooms")

Brooklyn’s Meek Is Murder will follow last year’s double EP, Onward/Into the Sun, with a self-released new album, Was, on July 15 (pre-order). It was produced by Converge’s Kurt Ballou, and it’s got a kind of frenetic mathcore that fans of that band will almost definitely like. We’re premiering the new single, “Full Hearts, Empty Rooms.” It’s just under the three-minute mark, and it’s moving full speed ahead almost the whole song, with room for a little slowed-down sludge too.
