NYU's annual Strawberry Festival takes place Friday, May 4 at W. 3rd & LaGuardia Pl., right off Washington Square Park, from noon t 4:30 PM. This year's lineup includes Montreal band Men I Trust, NYC's jazzy pop act Crumb, rapper MIKE and Beshken. It's free and open to the public and more info is here.

The Strawberry Festival is just ahead of a European tour for Men I Trust, who will be back in NYC for Northside Festival, playing Brooklyn’s Market Hotel on June 7 with Ought, Common Holly, and Elle Barbara's Black Space, and then they'll play a headlining show at Jersey City’s WFMU Monty Hall on June 8. Tickets for both are still available. They'll also be touring with Belle & Sebastian.

Meanwhile: MIKE also plays the 2018 Red Bull Music Festival the day before (5/3) at Pier 17 as part of the celebration of cult MC and graffiti writer RAMMΣLLZΣΣ with Wiki in collaboration with Coati Mundi and visuals by Arvid, plus Logan, Show Me The Body, Standing on the Corner, Sporting Life, Mal Devisa, Tony Seltzer, 700 Bliss (Moor Mother + DJ Haram), and Edan. Tickets are on sale.

Crumb will play Elsewhere Zone One on May 25 which is the rescheduled show with Combo Chimbita and Caleb Giles (tickets) and will also play a free Central Park Summerstage show on August 11 with Porches and Sunflower Bean.
