Carson Cox of Merchandise, Sam York of WALL, and Austin Brown of Parquet Courts have come together to release The Fire Dance 7" via Wharf Cat Records. The album is Carson Cox's "ode to downtown New York," channeling heat "like August concrete in the city." It features artwork by Wharf Cat's Sam Falls that embodies that same vibe.

Check out the title track below. It's a dark but glittery guitar-laden synth piece with a whole lot going on. You can pre-order the 7" here.

In related news, Parquet Courts announced an upcoming collab with Bun B and a winter tour with Mary Lattimore. Before that tour, Parquet Courts will be playing a show at Wonder Bar at Asbury Park on December 9 and a special show at Knockdown Center in Queens on December 10.
