Tons of shows get announced every week, and it can be hard to keep up. Here are all the heavy music (metal, hardcore & more) tours, shows & fests that we posted on BV this week, and some new ones too…

ROADBURN 2020 ADDITIONS

Roadburn’s 2020 lineup continues to get more and more stacked with new additions Dungen (two sets), Ultha, Cult Leader, Jeromes Dream, Portrayal of Guilt, Early Graves, and Pjin & Conjurer playing their collaborative album Curse These Metal Hands. Tickets to Sunday are still available. The rest is sold out.

PSYCHO LAS VEGAS 2020 ADDITIONS

Thursday, Warpaint, Cursive, Pinback, Boysetsfire, Brutus, and This Will Destroy You were added to the already-stacked Psycho Las Vegas 2020 lineup, and the Psycho Swim pre-party added Old Man Gloom, The Skull, and Polyrhythmics.

EN MINOR

Phil Anselmo’s goth-folk band En Minor confirmed that their debut album will be out in 2020, and they’re also playing hometown New Orleans show in New Orleans tonight (12/20). In related news…

…it’s been confirmed that Crowbar’s Kirk Windstein will be back in Down for their NOLA 25th anniversary shows! In related news…

SEPULTURA / SACRED REICH / CROWBAR

…Crowbar and back-in-action thrashers Sacred Reich have been tapped to open a 2020 tour for the current version of Sepultura, which includes longtime bassist Paulo Jr, longtime guitarist Andreas Kisser, vocalist/guitarist Derrick Green (who joined in 1998), and drummer Eloy Casagrande (who joined in 2011). What do Sepultura sound like these days, you ask? Well, they just put this new song out today:

OVERKILL / EXHORDER (including NJ w/ M.O.D. & DEMOLITION HAMMER)

NJ thrash vets Overkill and back-in-action New Orleans thrash/groove vets Exhorder are supporting their new albums on tour in 2020, and the tour ends with a special NJ show featuring even more veteran talent from NYC crossover trash vets M.O.D. (still led by founding vocalist Billy Milano) and reunited NYC thrash vets Demolition Hammer.

KISS / DAVID LEE ROTH

Van Halen’s David Lee Roth has announced that he’ll open KISS’ farewell tour in 2020.

THE ACACIA STRAIN / ROTTING OUT / CREEPING DEATH / CHAMBER / FUMING MOUTH

The Acacia Strain are going on a headlining tour in 2020, and they’re taking out an amazing group of openers: Rotting Out, Creeping Death, Chamber, and Fuming Mouth. ALSO, news just broke that The Acacia Strain apparently have a new album coming out next week on Closed Casket Activities.

CALIGULA’s HORSE / MOON TOOTH / EBONIVORY

Australian prog-metallers Caligula’s Horse have been around for a decade, but they’re only just now set to go on their first North American tour. It goes down in May and June of 2020 with direct support from New York’s Moon Tooth, who have been getting a lot of acclaim for this year’s Crux. All dates and tickets (including NYC’s Gramercy Theatre on 5/27) here.

UNIFORM & THE BODY

Having released two collaborative albums together, Uniform and The Body will team up again for a 2020 tour.

FAILURE

Heavy/atmospheric band Failure have a box set on the way featuring remastered vinyl version of their first three albums, and they’re going to be playing all three at special residencies.

MÖTLEY CRÜE AND DEF LEPPARD

Mötley Crüe and Def Leppard have added more dates to “The Stadium Tour” which is has them out in 2020 with Poison and Joan Jett & The Blackhearts. Those new stops are in San Antonio, Kansas City, St. Louis, Minneapolis, Nashville, Cincinnati and Cleveland. “The Stadium Tour” hits NYC at Citi Field on August 23. All dates are here.

MISFITS

Glenn Danzig said the “Original” Misfits wouldn’t play any more shows after Madison Square Garden, but that quickly turned out not to be the case when they played Philly last week, and now they’re set to headline day two of Mexico’s Domination festival.
