Metallica are at the 2017 Grammy Awards Ceremony, and they did collaborative performance with Lady Gaga (who's fresh off playing the Super Bowl). They played "Moth Into Flame" off the new Metallica album, with Gaga (wearing a cut-off Metallica tee) trading lead vocals with James Hetfield. James was plagued by a little mic malfunction, but things came together pretty nicely once he started sharing Gaga's. Pictures and video of the performance, and pics of them on the red carpet together, are in this post.

Metallica's "Hardwired" was nominated for Best Rock Song but lost to "Blackstar" by David Bowie (who Lady Gaga played a tribute to at last year's Grammy Awards ceremony).

UPDATE: Metallica announced a North American Stadium Tour, including Met Life Stadium and The New Coliseum. Lady Gaga added a second Citi Field show to her tour.
