Metronomy share video for Robyn collaboration “Hang Me Out to Dry”

Metronomy have shared the video for "Hang Me Out to Dry," their collaboration with Robyn from this year's Summer '08. The video was made by Montreal filmmaking collective Dent de Cuir, who say:

A great man of cinema once said: 'All you need to make a movie is a girl and a gun.' We just swapped the gun for a car.This concept offered a great metaphor: love is just a car ride. But let's cut the crap here, we did all of this for one reason: to put a check mark over 'burning a 70s Dodge Aspen' on our bucket list. We were surprised to see how simple it was to play with the practical image distortions on a car, and we also learnt that firefighters are the most efficient pyromaniacs in the world."

There's a lot of mystery before the Datsun goes down in flames, much of it in reflections. Watch the video below.

Metronomy did not tour North America (yet?) for Summer '08 but have European dates in 2017, including an appearance at Primavera Sound. Dates are listed below.
