MGMT share "When You Die"; new album due out in February

In October, MGMT revealed that their new album, Little Dark Age, would be out in 2018 and they released the title track. Today, a February release has been confirmed and a second single, “When You Die,” has been released. Like the title track, it sorta finds the middle ground between the weirdness of their last two albums and the catchiness of Oracular Spectacular, which so far is a pretty great look. It has a video starring Alex Karpovsky of Girls, though that video isn’t out just yet. In the meantime, stream the song below.

As previously mentioned, MGMT recorded the album with Chairlift’s Patrick Wimberly and Flaming Lips collaborator Dave Fridmann, and Ariel Pink contributes to it too.
