Former frontman for Ultravox (and member of Visage and Thin Lizzy), Midge Ure brought his current tour to NYC on October 2 for a show at Gramercy Theater. His set leaned heavily on Ultravox ("Vienna," "Dancing with Tears in My Eyes") and solo material ("Dear God" and his #1 UK hit "If I Was"), as you might imagine, but he also performed Visage's "Fade to Grey" and closed the night with an encore of David Bowie's "Starman." Midge sounded strong and was clearly having a blast, smiling and occasionally posturing for the audience as he led his trio through the paces.

Opening the show was the great Richard Lloyd, who performed a short set that concluded with the night's only Television number, "Marquee Moon." Pictures from the whole evening are in the gallery above and Midge's setlist is below.
