Mighty Mighty Bosstones ringing in New Year with HomeTown ThrowDown 21
Boston ska-punk vets The Mighty Mighty Bosstones will ring in the New Year in their hometown with the three-show HomeTown ThrowDown 21, taking place December 28, 29, and 30 at House of Blues in Boston. All shows are all ages, and the 12/30 show is a Sunday matinee. Opening acts TBA. Tickets are on sale now.
2018 has been a busy year for the Bosstones. They released their tenth album (and first in seven years), While We’re At It, and they threw their inaugural Cranking & Skanking Fest in the Boston area with Toots & the Maytals, The Bouncing Souls, Fishbone, The Pietasters, and more. Just a few weeks ago, they were in NYC to play the benefit show for their old pal Jimmy G of Murphy’s Law.
The Bosstones’ only other upcoming show is the Scallywag Craft Beer & Music Festival in San Diego on 10/20 with Rancid, Hepcat, Less Than Jake, The Interrupters, and Beach Goons.
