Mike Birbiglia regularly tests out new material with "Working it Out" shows that are often last-minute gigs at tiny clubs like Brooklyn's Union Hall. This summer, Mike will be "Working it Out" at a residency at Manhattan's Cherry Lane Theatre from Jul 8 - Aug 15. Tickets are on sale now.

"The Cherry Lane is a dream theater," says Mike of the venue that also hosted him for "The New One" last year. It's intimate and historic and comfortable and all the things that make a theater experience lovely. Plus, if Eugene O'Neill and Samuel Beckett were willing to work there, I feel like I should be open to it. It really is a magically warm space. It's like if you performed in your own living room if you happened to own a 40 million dollar loft in the West Village." He's also bringing "The New One" on tour this summer as well.
