Wild Fest

Mind Over Matter, Capital, Crime In Stereo, Iron Chic & more playing Long Island's Wild Fest

Silent Majority aren’t the only veteran Long Island band playing a benefit show for the family of the late Robert Mcallister (Iron Chic, Capital). Mid-’90s hardcore band Mind Over Matter (who have been reunited) will too.

The band is headlining day one of Long Island’s first annual Wild Fest, happening May 20 and 21 at Amityville Music Hall. Also on that day is Capital (with special guests), Incendiary, Thieves & Assassins (reunion), Take My Chances, Thirsty!, Fatal Erection (reunion), and Pushing Sides.

Day two has Crime In Stereo, Iron Chic, Agent (reunion), Sister Kisser (reunion), Fellow Project, After the Fall, Broadcaster and Mouth. Tickets will go on sale Monday (3/7) at 7 PM.

Mind Over Matter’s Arty Shepherd is currently in Primitive Weapons, who open that Silent Majority show in Brooklyn, along with Iron Chic and the reunited GreenSleep.

Crime In Stereo and Incendiary are also opening the upcoming Movielife show in NYC. Aviator are on that too. Tickets are still available.

You can donate to the Mcallister Family Memorial Fund here. Listen to some of the bands playing Wild Fest below…
