Minor Victories (Slowdive / Mogwai) postpone North American tour due to visa issues
The old Visa Issues strike again. Minor Victories, the band which features Rachel Goswell of Slowdive, Stuart Braithwaite of Mogwai, Justin Lockey of Editors, and his brother James Lockey, have had to postpone their upcoming North American tour. They announced on Facebook:
Minor Victories are sorry to announce that their tour dates in the USA and Canada are being postponed due to visa delays beyond their control.
The band are currently looking to reschedule the dates and want all those who have booked tickets to know that they are keen to get details of these shows announced as soon as possible.
Bummer. Dates included a stop in NYC at Music Hall of Williamsburg on June 21. Let's hope they reschedule soon.
Minor Victories' debut album is out this Friday (6/3) via Fat Possum. Tour dates are listed, along with the video for "A Hundred Ropes," below.
