Minus the Bear are currently celebrating the 10th anniversary of their proggiest album, Planet of Ice, by playing the whole thing on tour. They're in the midst of a NYC-area run that began at Asbury Park's Stone Pony on Wednesday (4/25), continued at Brooklyn's Warsaw on Thursday (4/26), and wraps up at Manhattan's Irving Plaza TONIGHT (4/27) (tickets).

They opened with Planet of Ice in full, and then played a second career-spanning set before returning for an encore that included such classics as "Absinthe Party at the Fly Honey Warehouse" and "Pachuca Sunrise." You can see the setlist and a video from The Stone Pony and pictures of the Warsaw show, including shots of their tourmates/Suicide Squeeze labelmates The Coathangers, in the gallery above.

After the run with The Coathangers ends, MTB continue the tour with support from Velvet Teen offshoot The New Trust. Before that, The New Trust come to NYC for a BrooklynVegan-presented show at Alphaville on May 22 (tickets).
