On Friday, Live Nation teased what looked a lot like an Original Misfits show in their home state of NJ, and it turns out that's exactly what it was. We wish it was at a small club like they used to play back in the day, but it's still exciting that Glenn Danzig, Doyle and Jerry Only will play their first NJ show together since 1983 at Prudential Center on May 19. Even better, it's with fellow veteran bands Suicidal Tendencies and Murphy's Law. Tickets go on sale Friday (2/2) at 10 AM and there's a BrooklynVegan presale starting Thursday (2/1) at 10 AM. Check back here Thursday morning for the password.

The Original Misfits -- which has Danzig, Jerry Only and Doyle joined by former Slayer drummer Dave Lombardo -- first played Riot Fest Denver and Chicago in 2016, followed by LA and Vegas shows in late December of 2017. This Prudential Center show, just their fifth announced date so far, and they're calling it their "only area performance."
