MoMA has announced this year's Summer Thursdays series, which brings live music to the museum's Sculpture Garden every Thursday in July and August. This year is in conjunction with the digital exhibition "Crossing Borders: Immigration and American Culture," and features "artists who embody a borderless musical vocabulary; combining sonic and lyrical traditions from around the world, they trace the contours of their multicultural backgrounds and transcend traditional ideas of citizenship, nations, and boundaries" Here's the lineup:

  • July 6: Arooj Aftab
  • July 13: ¡Aparato!
  • July 20: Buscabulla
  • July 27: Jojo Abot
  • August 3: The Kominas
  • August 10: Alsarah and the Nubatones
  • August 17: Banda Magda
  • August 24: Madame Gandhi
  • August 30: Helado Negro

All MoMA Summer Thursdays shows are from 6:30 - 9 PM and are included with museum admission.
