Montreal duo The Muscadettes playing CMJ (dates)

One of the better up-and-coming acts at the 2014 Pop Montreal festival were duo The Muscadettes. Comprised of twin sisters Chantal and Kathleen Ambridge (plus a drummer live), they make super-catchy, riffy rock with shouty choruses and hooks a'plenty. The band currently have a five-song EP out and will release their debut album next year. NYC can catch them next week when they play CMJ with four shows scheduled at present:
