It was recently revealed that avant-garde musician, rapper, poet, and more Moor Mother would be contributing to half the songs on the upcoming album by Zonal -- the collaborative project of Justin Broadrick (Godflesh, Jesu, etc) and Kevin Martin (The Bug, King Midas Sound, etc) -- and now she has announced her own new album and lead single "After Images" was also produced by Justin Broadrick. If you liked that new Zonal song, you'll probably like this too. It's dark, heavy industrial rap that should appeal to fans of stuff like dälek or Death Grips or Justin Broadrick and Kevin Martin's old Techno Animal project, but it's also a beast of its own and it reminds you that Moor Mother is one of the more unique, uncompromising rappers to emerge in the past few years.

The album is called Analog Fluids of Sonic Black Holes and it comes out November 8 via Don Giovanni (pre-order). Guests include Reef the Lost Cause and Saul Williams, and in addition to Broadrick, producers include King Britt, Mental Jewelry, Giant Swan, and JayVe Montgomery.

Moor Mother also has tour dates coming up, including a North American run with Jerusalem In My Heart that hits Brooklyn on September 28 at Issue Project Room (tickets). All dates are listed below.
