Morrissey will release a brand new studio album, titled Low in High School, on November 17 via Etienne, a new label he has started through BMG. The album was produced by Joe Chiccarelli, who was also behind the boards on 2014's World Peace is None of Your Business, and recorded at La Fabrique Studios in France and Ennio Morricone’s Forum Studios in Rome. With the news came a statement from BMG executive Korda Marshall, saying "He is an extraordinary talent. He is prodigious, literate, witty, elegant and above all, courageous. His lyrics, humor and melodies have influenced many generations. The music on this new landmark record will speak for itself and we are delighted to welcome him to BMG."

More details are still to come, obviously, but Moz has announced a release show at Los Angeles' Hollywood Bowl on November 10. Tickets for that show will be on sale soon. UPDATE: Billy Idol is also playing the show, which is now two shows (11/10 & 11/11)
