Mother Falcon at Littlefield - 6/25/13
Mother Falcon

Austin's 18-member baroque pop band Mother Falcon have been doing two simultaneous residencies in NYC this month at Brooklyn venue Littlefield and Manhattan venue Joe's Pub. They've had different special guests each night (one night had Amanda Palmer), and for the final show at each venue, Mother Falcon have chosen to perform Radiohead's OK Computer in its entirety, in addition to a set of their own material. We just caught them doing one of their OK Computer shows at Littlefield last night (6/25), and they pulled it off well. The large collective traded off vocals multiple times throughout the set, while for "Fitter Happier" (the computer voice one, you may remember), they gave the audience lyric sheets and had everyone recite along. The show opened with a set by Alex Weston. Pictures from the night are in this post.

The final show of their NYC residencies happens on Sunday (6/30) at Joe's Pub, which is also an OK Computer show. Tickets for that show are still available.
