Mott The Hoople '74, which reunites frontman Ian Hunter with former bandmates Ariel Bender and Morgan Fisher, were supposed to get back on the road for a fall US tour, but sadly they have had to cancel the tour because Ian Hunter developed a severe case of tinnitus. The announcement reads:
Mott the Hoople '74 are disappointed to have to announce the cancellation of their Fall 2019 U.S. tour. The group’s singer and guitarist Ian Hunter has recently developed a severe case of tinnitus and has been advised by his doctors to discontinue performing until this condition subsides.
Tickets purchased for these dates can be refunded at point of sale.
Hopefully Ian is able to recover enough to tour again soon. All affected dates are listed below.
