Mountain Man announce tour (dates), playing Winnipeg Folk Festival (lineup)

Mountain Man will kick off a round of North American dates with an appearance at the four-day Winnipeg Folk Festival on July 8th. There they'll join names like Jeff Tweedy, The Jawhawks, M. Ward (who is playing Wellmont this summer too) and others, before shoving off to hit the road on their way east, and eventually to NYC to play Mercury Lounge on 7/28. Tickets for the Manhattan show go on AmEx presale at noon Wednesday (5/18) and regular sale on Friday.
The Mercury Lounge show comes not long before Mountain Man end their tour at the Newport Folk Festival (that M. Ward is also playing).
A member of Mountain Man is also a member of BOBBY who played Knitting Factory earlier this month.
