Joey Badass Mr Robot
loading...

Everyone's favorite cyber thriller, Mr. Robot, concluded its third season last night. Unlike season two's finale, which left us with a cliffhanger that made for a painful 13 months before season three began, this was one of those big, satisfying finales where (almost) all of your questions are answered. It also has you at the edge of your seat the entire time. I don't wanna give away too much in case you haven't watched, but for the music fans out there, I'll give away that there's a plot twist where Joey Bada$$ (Leon) pulls his most badass move since the time he stabbed those white supremacists in season two.

Also for the music fans, it's worth noting that the last few minutes of the episode made excellent use of M83's "Intro." It wasn't the first time Mr. Robot used M83's music -- "Gone" was featured way back in season one, episode eight. Mr. Robot using a great song to an end an episode is nothing new (they used Daft Punk's "Touch" to great effect earlier this season), but "Intro" worked especially well. So well, in fact, that it’d be no surprise to learn M83 composes scores on the side as well.

Listen to "Intro" below:
