USA Networks have announced that the upcoming fourth season of its award-winning dystopian paranoid cyber-thriller series Mr. Robot will be its last. That won't come until 2019 and there's been no word on the number of episodes or other details, but creator Sam Esmail says:

Excited to show you guys the final chapter in Elliot's journey. It's going to be sad to say goodbye to Mr. Robot, but it'll be sadder to say goodbye to all the fans. Thanks for hanging with us throughout the years and cannot wait to share the conclusion with all of you.

After becoming a cult hit with its fantastic first season, Mr Robot stumbled a bit with its second season (which featured Joey Bada$$ amongst its cast) but came back strong with its third season which concluded last December. To tide you over, Esmail is making a Mr. Robot prequel comic that's due out this fall via Black Mask Studios.
