MS MR played their first of two sold out NYC shows at Mercury Lounge last night (1/16), which Gospels opened. They played every track on their Candy Bar Creep Show EP and the title track from their upcoming Fantasy LP, along with some others. Pictures of both bands are in this post.

MS MR will do it again tonight (1/17) at the same venue with Jamaican Queens (also sold out). Meanwhile, you can catch Gospels in NYC again when they open for Atlas Genius at Music Hall of Williamsburg on February 20. Tickets for that show, which is a record release show for Atlas Genius’ debut, When It Was Now, go on sale Saturday (1/19) at noon.
