MTV is continuing to revive its classic shows. In addition to Yo! MTV Raps and TRL (which didn't work out so well), everyone's favorite queen of sarcasm, Daria, is coming back. It's returning as part of MTV's new production unit MTV Studios (which will also include reboots of The Real world, Aeon Flux, Made, and two new reality shows), and behind the reboot is Grace Edwards, who has written for Inside Amy Schumer, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, and more. Via Variety:

“MTV has the biggest collection of hit youth franchises that spans more than three decades of content and over 200 titles, part of which have fueled our resurgence,” said Chris McCarthy, president of MTV. “With MTV Studios, we are for the first time ever opening up this vault beyond our own platforms to reimagine the franchises with new partners.”

Previously, Daria reruns came to MTV Classic, the rebranded VH1 Classic that launched in 2016.
