Muzz is a new band featuring Interpol frontman Paul Banks, Matt Barrick (The Walkmen, Fleet Foxes), and Josh Kaufman (Bonny Light Horseman, Day of the Dead, etc). Not much is known about the project yet, but they've got an Instagram and a Soundcloud and their first song "Bad Feeling" is out now. It's a gorgeous, heavily layered indie rock song, closer to the recent work of Matt Barrick and Josh Kaufman than the more post-punky sound of Interpol, but Paul Banks is perfectly suited for this kind of thing too. (It also sounds a bit like The National, who Kaufman works with and whose frontman Barrick now works with.) Listen below and stay tuned for more on Muzz.
