Queer-rap artist Mykki Blanco is finally releasing a proper debut LP after years of mixtapes and EPs. Titled Mykki, the album is set to drop on September 16 via !K7 records, and Mykki has shared the first song from that. It's called "The Plug Won't," which is a dark, pulsing "anti-love song" that reads as a bad night at the club (as much of Mykki's stuff does). You can stream that here.

Meanwhile, Mykki has scheduled a few shows in the future, one of which is in NYC and looks like a release show given the timing. That goes down on September 16 at Market Hotel (the venue that Mykki helped open earlier this year). Tickets for that are on sale now.

Mykki also has a show the next night in Philly, as well as a handful of dates elsewhere in North America and Europe in the next few months. Check out those dates below.
