Two almost-equally long-running metal innovators, the Melvins and Napalm Death, are on tour now with the only slightly-less long-running Japanese noise rockers Melt-Banana. That killer triple bill just hit NYC for two sold-out shows: Thursday (4/14) at Music Hall of Williamsburg and Friday (4/15) at Webster Hall. Melvins loaded their set with classics, new stuff, and a handful of the covers they like to do, including "Frosted Flake" by Redd Kross, whose Steve McDonald was playing bass with them. Napalm Death did the same, with material spanning from the highly influential Scum to last year's great Apex Predator - Easy Meat.

We didn't get ND's exact setlist (anyone have it?) but the Melvins setlist and pictures from MHOW are in this post.
