Nashville's Faux Ferocious ready new LP (listen) on tour w/ 2 Brooklyn shows this week

You may remember Nashville mutant garage punks Faux Ferocious, who last year released a self-titled tape as part of the Infinity Cat Cassette Series. They also released an LP last year, Blue Legends, and are set to release new LP, Cloning the Rubicon, on October 21. You can check out motorik burner “Feeding Frenzy” off that LP, and a few other Faux Ferocious tracks, below.

The band are currently on a North American tour and even more currently are in Brooklyn for two shows: tonight (8/31) at Alphaville with Aussie ex-pat punks The Wilful Boys and Degreaser (tickets), and then Shea Stadium on Thursday (9/1) with Sun Voyager, Zip Tie Handcuffs and Vamanos ($10 at the door). This weekend, Faux Ferocious will head upstate to the Meltasia Festival. All dates are listed below.
