Neighborhood Brats releasing a new LP on Deranged (stream a track)

LA’s Neighborhood Brats make quick punchy blasts of garage punk that have them sounding like a female-fronted Ramones or a more lo-fi Sahara Hotnights. The songs are fast, the melodies are familiar, and it’s all the kind of stuff you can bop around to at a basement show and have a blast. The band’s putting out a new album, Recovery, this month on Deranged Records, the label responsible for launching the careers of White Lung and Fucked Up. The album follows their super-fun 2013 LP on Deranged, No Sun No Tan, and this past January’s Total Dementia EP which Dirtnap Records (Marked Men) put out. We’ve got the premiere of its new single, “One Wasted Year,” that you can and should check out below.

No tour dates announced at the moment, but hopefully they’ll hit the road again soon.
