Roughly two months ago, we debuted a video by Netherlands, the excellent synth-fueled heavy punk band fronted by prolific Brooklynite musician Timo Ellis. The album that provided the source material for the video, Silicon Vapor, dropped on 10/29 and is available for purchase via their Bandcamp. (You can also stream it below.)

Since then, Netherlands have debuted a second equally-weird video (via Burning Ambulance) and announced a record release show happening at Death By Audio in Brooklyn on November 30 with Wild Yaks, Low Fat Getting High, and Grandfather providing support. In standard DbA fashion, there's no presale, but tix will be $8 at the door. Netherlands are a very visually-oriented band; I haven't seen them live, but you can bet that their in-person show will be quite a spectacle.
