New Lows haven’t kicked the bucket. In fact, after some lineup changes the Massachusetts band is stronger than ever with their new LP Harvest Of The Carcass out NOW via the venerable Deathwish Inc. Sporting tough cover art courtesy of Converge frontman Jacob Bannon (get a limited edition print), Harvest was recorded by Chris Corry of Mind Eraser at The Paincave and features ten tracks that are as influenced by crusty hardcore (His Hero is Gone, From Ashes Rise, etc) as they are grindy/crusty Euro death metal (Entombed, Bolt Thrower, etc). Check out the fourth track on the LP, “Last of The Rats” available for download above and streaming below, and order a copy… it’s pretty impressive.
New Lows will open all three dates on the upcoming Nails/Burning Love/All Pigs Must Die tour that will hit Union Pool on April 1st. Tickets are still available.
Nails were also just confirmed on the lineup of this year’s Scion Rock Fest.
