Following their appearance at Riot Fest in Chicago last weekend, New Order headed to Los Angeles for a big show at Hollywood Bowl on Monday night (9/18) with Goldfrapp making for a very appealing, very Mute Records double bill. Having put a bunch of deep cuts back into their repertoire for the Manchester International Festival shows in July, the band added "Vanishing Point" (from the near-flawless second side of Technique) to the Hollywood Bowl setlist, a song which hadn't been played in the U.S. since 1989. They also played classic singles like "Bizarre Love Triangle," True Faith," "Sub-Culture," "The Perfect Kiss" and "Temptation." They encored with three Joy Division songs -- "Decades," "Atmosphere," and "Love Will Tear Us Apart." There was also an earthquake in Los Angeles just after their set...though no one at the show really seemed to notice. Setlist, videos and a few Instagram pics are below.

Goldfrapp's opening set featured a handful of songs from this year's Silver Eye, plus glittery bangers like "Ride a White Horse," "Ooh La La" and "Strict Machine." Moby and Mute Records domo Daniel Miller DJ'd the after-party at No Vacancy. Check out videos and pics of Goldfrapp's set, and a couple of Moby spinning at the after-party, below.
