The 2016 edition of New York Comic Con happened last weekend at Javits Center. The NYCC is bigger than even and in addition to all the fun cosplay action, this year boasted lots of big panels, ranging from Marvel titles, sci-fi from the BBC, Star Wars, and lots more.

Many of those panels also premiered new video and we've got some of that here, including the first trailer for War for the Planet of the Apes, the next entry in the surprisingly strong recent Planet of the Apes movies (some are talking Oscar for Andy Serkis' motion-capture performance).

Theere's also a teaser trailer for season 7 of The Walking Dead, for those who are into that.

For fans of the Marvel Netflix shows, (like Luke Cage) there's a new trailer for the upcoming Iron Fist series. Iron Fist is also one fourth of The Defenders, which also joins up Daredevil, Luke Cage, and Jessica Jones. The entire cast made a surprise appearance at NYCC, announcing that Sigourney Weaver would play the main villain in the series' first season for Netflix, which hasn't started filming yet. You can watch their NYCC introduction below.

You can also watch a scene from the new BBC America adaptation of Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency, which stars Elijah Wood and Samuel Barnett and is based on the series of novels from the late Douglas Adams (The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy).

And, in wildly exciting news, there is now a trailer for the Keanu Reeves-starring John Wick: Chapter 2, which looks amazing and features the long-awaited Neo/Morpheus reunion. And news also filtered out that John Wick 3 is already in the works. Rejoice.

If you didn't get enough of the fan cosplay antics in our first gallery, a second gallery is above. You can watch those trailers/clips mentioned in this post,  below.
