New York Fashion Week is upon us, beginning today (2/9) and running through February 16, bringing a whole lot of directly/indirectly fashion related cool things to do that you probably aren't invited to. Here are some of the notable music-related ones you can try and weasel your way into.

Pitchfork reports that Thom Yorke and pal/collaborator Nigel Godrich will be DJing at the Rag & Bone party tonight (2/9). Details are scarce for those not in the industry (like us). UPDATE: Take a look inside the party at Thom York and girlfriend Dajana Roncione, Keri Russell, and other attendees.

Also tonight: Sky Ferreira is part of Style's big NYFW kickoff event at the Theatre at Madison Square Garden, which will also features performances by 98 Degrees x Bone Thugs 'n Harmony, along with designers like onetime club kid and Pat Field protege Richie Rich, and others. The invite you didn't get featured such slogans as “This Is What Democracy Looks Like” and “Free To Be Me.” Online tickets are off-sale (it's an all-day event) but there may be tickets at the door. There's also an afterparty for the Richie Rich event at Troy Liquor Bar.

If none of that sounds like your thing for this Thursday evening, there's a comedy show at UCB Chelsea titled "New York Fashion Week Flagship Show (Rejects)":

It's fashion week and we're bringing you the hottest looks that were denied access to NY Fashion Week for being "too ugly" "idiotic" or "not a real design." Skip the line and spend the evening with us as we dazzle you with looks that will have you asking 'Is that fashion or just someone's trash?". This is the place to see and be seen if you weren't able to get in anywhere else.

Tickets for that UCB show are on sale.

On Friday (2/10), the Boiler Room folks are throwing an "F is for FENDI" launch party featuring Metro Boomin, 21 Savage, Migos, Lil Uzi Vert, Jamie Jones, ABRA, Peggy Got, Howie, Bohan Pheonix, Meuko! Meuko, and Abir. Invite only (and secret location), but work your magic or watch it online.

And of course there's Kanye West, who will be debuting Yeezy Season 5 at Pier 59 Studios on February 15 and he continues to be somewhat a thorn in the side of NYFW. From Fashionista:

After CFDA CEO Steven Kolb expressed frustration towards West and his impulsively planned show time during New York Fashion Week, WWD reports that West has decided to reschedule his Yeezy Season 5 debut two hours earlier at 3 p.m. Its planned location still remains and there are no other conflicting shows currently scheduled — aside from the possibility of late arrivals to Anna Sui at 4 p.m.

"Kanye called me personally to let me know that he had no intention of showing on top of another designer, and was unaware that there was a conflict. He explained that once he realized Marchesa was in the time slot, he immediately looked at alternative options," said Kolb in a statement to WWD.

No doubt, Yeezy Season 5 will be a spectacle.

Also part of NYFW, is an Andy Warhol auction at Christie's, featuring over 80 original photographs, prints and drawings revolving around all things fashion. It's an online auction but there's an exhibition of the works at Skylight Clarkson Sq through February 16.
