Zoroaster at Hoeks Death Metal Pizza (more by Diana Zadlo)

Though we aren't that far-removed from their monolithic 2009 release Voice of Saturn,
Zoroaster is on the prowl with a new LP, a new label, and a (slightly) new direction with Matador, the band's debut for E1 Music (current home to High on Fire). The release date of Matador falls on July 13th, falling two days after the band completes its latest batch of touring with the fantastic Black Tusk (who's new album Taste The Sin is out NOW on Relapse) and the equally rifftastic monsters in Dark Castle. That tour impacts The Studio at Webster Hall on July 9th (with new addition Hull - tickets are still available). While you wait for these badass Southerners (as in from south of heaven) to hit your town, the band has let loose a new track for us to gnaw on. Stream "Black Hole" below.
