Night Flight, the '80s cult series that showcased punk, metal, new wave and out-there cinema, returned in 2016 as a streaming channel with classic episodes (and commercials), movies and more. This year, cable channel IFC started airing the series in short-form, 15-minute classic segments on the weekends. The second IFC season will begin airing October 5.

To celebrate the second IFC season of Night Flight, series creator Stuart Shapiro is hosting a special event at Brooklyn's Alamo Drafthouse on October 4. They'll be showing segments featuring Pete Townshend and The Who, David Bowie, Tom Petty, Kate Bush, Leonard Cohen, Robert Plant, Robert Palmer, Whitney Houston, and lots more -- tickets are on sale now.
