Nine Inch Nails“Cold and Black and Infinite” tour treks on, hitting San Francisco tonight (12/3) and Tuesday (12/4), followed by a lengthy run at LA’s Palladium. Like the rest of the tour, The Jesus and Mary Chain are providing direct support at all dates, and NIN have appealing, additional support acts varying by night (the final two shows get The Soft Moon). Not only has Trent Reznor picked some great openers for this tour, he’s also been playing great music over the PA between sets. In case you’d like to see all that music in one place, Trent posted a playlist of it.

He writes, “A few of you have asked (ok, maybe one of you) what music is playing between bands on the current tour. Here’s the playlist I made. Hit shuffle and consider drinking an overpriced beer out of a plastic cup for enhanced effect.”

The playlist includes some of the music Trent and Atticus Ross composed for film scores, as well as a couple songs by Trent’s How to Destroy Angels project, a couple non-“Tainted Love” Soft Cell songs, and stuff by New Order, David Bowie, Killing Joke, Fischerspooner, Brainiac, Iggy Pop, Bauhaus, Portishead, Love and Rockets, Polica & s t a r g a z e, Primal Scream, Liars, Radiohead, Beak>, DIIV, Oneohtrix Point Never, and more. Check out the playlist (via Spotify or Apple Music) below. (UPDATE: it’s gone from Spotify, but you can still see it and listen via Apple Music)

In case you missed it, check out our pictures and review of night one at Radio City, review of night one at Kings Theatre, and pictures of night one at Aragon Ballroom. As you may have heard, NIN are mixing up their setlists a lot at these shows and breaking out songs they haven’t played in a while. If you’re on the fence about catching one of the remaining West Coast shows, it’s worth it.
