Nitzer Ebb announce first North American tour in nearly a decade
British EBM group Nitzer Ebb will be coming to North America for their first tour here in nearly a decade. The spring tour kicks off May 9 in Boston and wraps up May 26 in Dallas, stopping in-between in Brooklyn, Montreal, Philadelphia, Toronto, Baltimore, Denver, Tampa, Atlanta, Miami, and Houston. The Brooklyn show happens May 10 at Elsewhere Hall (tickets). There’s also an Austin date in September and they’ll be at Barcelona’s Primavera Sound which kicks off their European tour. All dates are listed below.
In other news, Nitzer Ebb saw their entire catalog reissued in a vinyl box set last year and, if you don’t need quite that much, their best-of compilation Body of Work, which includes classic singles like “Join the Chant,” “Control I’m Here” and “Lightning Man,” will get its first-ever vinyl pressing via Mute on March 1.
