Noel Gallagher talks Kanye, football, UK hip hop & more on 'Hot Ones' (watch)
With his new EP just out, onetime Oasis guitarist/songwriter Noel Gallagher stopped by popular YouTube talk show / endurance challenge Hot Ones to talk songwriting, the rise of Manchester City Football Club, Kanye West interviews, meeting Hulk Hogan, UK hip-hop (he calls Stormzy, Skepta and other grime acts “today’s punk rock”), infamous Oasis stories, and more…all while eating progressively spicier chicken wings. Noel says up front that he’s “not particularly” good with spicy food and that he also has a “raging hangover.” Despite such obstacles, Noel remains an endlessly quotable, entertaining interview subject.
